The Story-

A mother from New Jersey roams the hills of Lockerbie Scotland, looking for her son’s remains that were lost in the crash of Pan Am flight 103. She meets the women of Lockerbie, who are fighting the U.S. government to obtain the clothing of the victims.

The Style-
The play is written in the form of a Greek Tragedy with a chorus and 5 main characters. The play needs to be delivered by allowing the text and the form to take the audience on a ride. Any ‘emoting’ will reduce the play to melodrama. So come ready to let the words and the situation tell the story and the audience will feel more deeply.

The Roles-
Madeline Livingston- suburban housewife who lost her son Adam, in the crash
Bill Livingston- her husband and father of Adam
Olive Allison- older woman and leader of the Laundry project
Hattie- a cleaning woman from Lockerbie
George Jones- the American government representative in charge of the warehouse storing the remains of Pan Am 103 crash

Woman 1 and 2 ( and possibly 3,4,5) middle aged women from Lockerbie- the chorus
